EAMS assists clients by sourcing its list of customers from their clients’ databases or from its own marketing database first, for the purposes of offering products and services on behalf of clients including credit providers.
Where it’s is a credit offer from a credit provider, EAMS first determines if you have consented to marketing from its marketing database; and then Equifax Australia Information Services and Solutions Pty Limited ABN 26 000 602 862 (EAISS) applies the criteria as set by the credit provider before undertaking a pre-screened assessment as permitted under s20G(2) of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) to determine you are eligible to receive this credit offer.
As part of pre-screened assessments, your details are not disclosed to the credit provider and the campaign is conducted as permitted under s20H of the Privacy Act.
